The idea behind a virtual assistant is to make our lives easier, to be our second brain, and to help us accomplish our daily tasks more efficiently.

Google Now is the newest contender in this arena. Its voice control software allows you to find information quickly and accurately. The assistant even predicts information that you might want based upon your location, or what is in your Gmail account.
